Adapted from a novel by Jodi Picoult, the story revolves around a 13 yr old, her siblings, her parents, and her cancer.A struggle with the concept of the inevitable death, the ever-lingering 'hope for a miracle', and the ability to be bigger than yourself is what this is all about. It's tough to stick up for yourself in this bad world. It's tougher to stick up for someone else than yourself.
Not only is the story very mature, everyone part of the screenplay have pushed the boundaries of creativity.
An absolute must for people who can appreciate there exists entertainment beyond shakrukh's wide arm raises and sallu's chiseled physique. Truly a wonderful experience.
